Anja Klinkert, Dani Nicolson, and Rachel Grant are Dunedin-based mediators specialising in Insight Mediation. Insight Mediation helps people uncover the deeper reasons behind their conflict and change how they see the situation and each other. It is based on an understanding that we are all interconnected.
Anja Klinkert
Anja is passionate about mediation and working with a team. Ravi, the Staffy dog is an especially loved team member. She works as collaborative lawyer, as well as mediator. She is accredited with the Resolution Institute, trained by LEADR, AMINZ and overseas trainers and practices Insight Mediation. She is registered with both Resolution Institute and AMINZ as a mediator panel member. She has been working as a mediator with families since 2010 and is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) provider. She has a well-established property and private client affairs law practice providing legal services to her business and family clients. She has also extensive experience in dispute resolution involving property, business and community groups and strives to make her mediations accessible, safe and efficient. She is committed to collaborating with new mediators and enjoys practicing in co-mediation for the more complex situations. Anja is the director of Fernhill Lawyers Limited and founder of Blue Door Mediation Services.

Dani Nicolson
Dani is the director of Ripple Legal and Resolution Services Limited, working as a collaborative lawyer, barrister and solicitor. She contracts to Blue Door Mediation providing mediation services. She is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) provider (working with Fairway Resolution), an active member of the Resolution Institute and volunteer mediator with Dunedin Community Mediation. Dani works closely with clients and other professionals to facilitate meaningful conversations and lasting agreements.

Rachel Grant
Rachel practised law for over ten years before transitioning to a career focused on mediation, conflict coaching and legal education. She is an accredited mediator and conflict coach with Resolution Institute and contracts to Blue Door Mediation. Rachel also teaches Professional Legal Studies to law students and delivers workshops on dispute resolution and communication. In addition, she volunteers as a mediator with Dunedin Community Mediation.
